Anna Matysiak, head of LabFAM among 100 influential woman according to Forbes
Forbes magazine has published the list of the 100 most influential women of 2020 “Forbes Women”. This group has included Dr Anna Matysiak, Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw (UW).
The awarded influential women include among others: Carmen M. Reinhart – chief economist of the World Bank, Prof. Fabiola Gianotti – head of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and Polish Nobel laureate in literature, Olga Tokarczuk.
Dr Anna Matysiak, University of Warsaw, is a family demographer and labour economist. Her research interests cover family dynamics (union formation and dissolution, childbearing) and its interrelationships with men’s and women’s economic activity and their well-being in the context of continuously changing conditions of labour force participation, labour market institutions, family policies and cultural norms.
A year ago, she was granted a prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant 2019 “Globalization- and Technology-Driven Labour Market Change and Fertility” (LABFER).
