Family life and the changing world of work – conference presentations
It was a great pleasure to host researchers from several research instutitions from all over Europe who discussed how the changing world of work affects families, fertility patterns, career opportunities and and gender equality.
During our joint conference, co-organized within 2 ERC projects (LabFer – University of Warsaw, and EU-FER – University of Florence), we had 5 sessions dedicated to home based work gender, employment, uncertainty, labour market and fertility, along with a poster session. Our 2 keynote speakers, Professor May Daly from University of Oxford and Professor Daniel Oesch from University of Lausanne, provided insight on “middle class squeeze” and future research agenda on family life and the changing world of work.
